So I have had my Asus X54C laptop for like 5+ years now, and this specific problem became only an issue for me about 5 months ago (like out of nowhere-like 'wait, why are you breaking up with me all of a sudden'-like 'but I dont understand-just tell me why?'. and follow up with a yeah thank youuuu-though my situation is still a little strange.

Here's the SS ('Short Summary'): Same exact problem for Asus X54C, tried all solutions, this one worked-but only for external USB wifi adapter, not onboard laptop wifi! Nonetheless, internet is up and running everytime I turn on laptop with usb wifi adapter in, so lots and lots of praises and thanks!!
